Club Boats: The club has four kayaks available for use by members with 2 STAR kayaking certificates at times when safety cover is available. For information contact kayak@sailporty.org.uk.

Safety: Members are reminded that they are responsible for their own safety, that of their crew and their boat, in the yard, on the prom and beach and on the water. Watch out for others using the area, including swimmers. No safety cover is provided except during races and similar club organised events. Members must make their own judgements about using their boats, taking account of their own and their crew's skills and experience, current and forecast weather and sea conditions, and the suitability of their craft.
