Storage

Portobello Sailing & Kayaking Club has a dinghy park located just off the Portobello promenade.  We currently have no spare space, please contact the Yardmaster to be added to a waiting list. As a community club promoting sailing, kayaking and rowing, priority we give priority to boats that are used frequently and owned locally.

Boat owners pay an annual fee of £200 for a dinghy and £75 for a kayak or windsurfer storage. Storage is for the period 1 April to 31 March. Dinghy owners must have 3rd party liability insurance to the value of £3 million and to provide evidence of this on request. No powered craft, except club safety boats, are permitted.

Boat storers must be members of the club. After you have confirmed with the Yardmaster that you have be allocated a place:

Unfortunately it is not possible to pay for membership and storage in one transaction.
