Storage

Portobello Sailing & Kayaking Club has a dinghy park located just off the Portobello promenade.  There are limited spaces available for both dinghies and kayaks. 

Currently as of 20/5/2011, the dinghy park is FULL and whilst we can accept one or two more kayaks, we have no more space for sailing dinghies at present. 

At any stage it is possible that a space will come free and these will be allocated on the basis of a waiting list.  If you want to put your name onto the waiting list please email info@sailporty.org.uk.

Boat owners pay an annual fee of £200 for a dinghy and £75 for a kayak or windsurfer storage.  Dinghy owners will need to show evidence of 3^rd party liability insurance to the value of £3 million. To arrange to store a boat at the club’s dinghy park  you will need to email info@sailporty.org.uk and we will contact you with information on how to access the promenade with your vehicle if you are towing the boat.  Access to the promenade is restricted by locked gates and only committee members have keys so we will arrange a time to meet you at the entrance to the promenade.
